Conduct

You agree that you will at all times comply with The Little Optimist Trust requirements in regard to your conduct and you will not in any way constitute a nuisance or a danger to any other participant at The Little Optimist Sailing Academy.

Liability

The Little Optimist Trust is covered by public liability insurance which protects businesses from financial losses due to claims made by third parties (customers, clients, or the public) for injuries or property damage caused by the business’s operations or premises. 

Force Majeure

Except where otherwise expressly stated in these conditions, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss, as a result of “force majeure”. In these Conditions, “force majeure” means any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity or actual threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

Payments

Once a booking date and time has been agreed upon, the client will be sent an invoice for payment. Payment secures your booking.

Methods of Payment

Confirmation will only be given once all funds have been cleared by The Little Optimist Trust.

Cancellation and refunds

If you wish to cancel your booking you must advise The Little Optimist Trust within 48 hours of your booking date, a new booking date and time will be agreed upon by both parties. Any cancellation made after 48 hours results in a full cancellation. We regret no refunds. No shows or late cancellations will be donated to The Little Optimist Trust.

If The Little Optimist needs to cancel in cases of bad weather we will notify you within 48 hours of your booking. A new date will be agreed upon by both parties.

Complaints

In the event that you have any reason to complain, or experience any problems with your experience at The Little Optimist Sailing Academy, please notify the manager on duty immediately. Until we know about a problem or complaint, we cannot begin to resolve it. Whilst every effort will be made by The Little Optimist to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction it is specifically recorded that The Little Optimist in no way accepts liability for any claim that you may have in respect of your complaint.
